Fine lines? Coarse pores? Pigmentation? Scars? Acne? In all cases, vitamin A offers the (scientifically proven) solution. This serum contains 0.5% vitamin A in the form of retinol, which penetrates deep into skin cells and is effective. It stimulates cell renewal and collagen production, calms overactive pigment cells and fades scars and other blemishes. Skin texture improves, coarse pores fade and the complexion evens out and refreshes. In addition, retinol is very effective in addressing blemished skin (clogged pores) and hormonal acne. It "unclogs" deep into the pores, inhibits sebum production and helps tackle inflammation and its visible effects (dark discolorations). This serum is an ideal starter product for those new to retinol; in fact, tolerance to it must always be built.

- Must be used in conjunction with SPF50+ as vitamin A makes skin more sensitive to the sun.
- Do not use during pregnancy/breastfeeding. In case of hormone treatment/IVF treatment in consultation with your doctor or physician.
- Suitable for all skin types. Entry-level retinol; gentle but powerful. Skin condition: (premature) aging, sun damage, pigmentation, acne, dull complexion, rough skin texture.

Usage

Every other day and evening only. Apply 3-4 drops to cleansed skin. Leave on for 10 minutes before applying moisturizer. On other evenings, use Liquid Gold if necessary for a thorough anti-aging approach.

We recommend using a day cream with SPF50+ protection during the day, as vitamin A makes skin more sensitive to the sun.

Active ingredients
- Retionol (0.5%): effective, water-soluble form of vitaminAand a perfect alternative to retinoic acid (available by prescription only). Retinol gives the same results as retinoic acid without the associated downtime and, unlike retinoic acid, is suitable for long-term use. It stimulates cell renewal, cell differentiation and collagen production and helps reduce pigmentation and scars.
- Squalane: acts like our skin's own oil (sebum): it prevents moisture loss and keeps your skin soft and supple. As an antioxidant, it works with other antioxidants to reduce UV damage and protects against lipid peroxidation. This changes the composition of sebum, which can lead to inflammation, in which case it can cause damage not only on the surface of the skin but also up into the pores.
- Tomato extract: anti-inflammatory, helps keep retinol stable (unstable, oxidized retinol can cause reactions).
- Evening primrose oil: helps stabilize skin barrier function, helps prevent moisture loss (trans epidermal water loss, TEWL). Naturally anti-inflammatory.
- Macadamia oil: powerful oil with not only tremendous skin protective, but also healing, antiage and moisturizing properties. Is quickly absorbed by the skin.
- 100% free of: parabens, sulfates (SLS and SLES), phthalates, mineral oil, nanoparticles, triclosan and triclocarban
